If we talk about the admission procedure for admission in journalism courses in Delhi, it is very simple. Majority of the colleges conduct an entrance test, which is followed by a personal interview. To sit for these entrance exams, one has to fill an application form and submit it at the college before the last date given by the college. Some colleges also ask for documents such as mark sheets and certificates during the time of admission. It is therefore advised to make sure you have all your documents in place.
Many colleges like Indian institute of mass communication also give students an option to apply online. For this, one has to upload copies of all the academic documents and pay a registration fee online. All applicants are given an admit card which they have to carry to the entrance exam centre. It is a proof that they have applied for that particular course. After conducting the entrance exam, results are displayed on the college notice board within a week or ten days. Selected candidates are then called for a personal interview round. Those who clear the interview round are then selected for admission in the journalism course.
